About Event
Chat GPT has certainly put AI top of mind, so let’s talk about the implications with a long-time AI developer and successful serial founder and investor! AI, or artificial intelligence, is a rapidly growing field that is transforming the way businesses operate. With the help of AI, businesses can improve their efficiency and gain valuable insights from data. However, there are also challenges that businesses need to consider, such as job displacement and ethical considerations. Entrepreneurs should approach AI with a strategic mindset and consider ways to mitigate the potential negative impacts. With the right approach, AI can be a powerful tool that can drive business growth and innovation.

Post Event Summary
Last week Bonnie Halper and I hosted Arsen Pereymer for a discussion about #ai. With all the buzz about #chatgpt it was great to dive deep into the subject of artificial intelligence. We had the privilege to hear from Arsen who is an investor and entrepreneur building AI products.
Some takeaways:
? ChatGpt is one use case of AI. (One that is getting a lot of attention.) There are many other use cases for AI technology.
? Not all uses of AI are for the good. We discussed misinformation and how that feeds the AI and then continues to spread/generate misinformation, all the issues of plagiarism, whether AI will replace humans (? spoiler alert it won’t), where AI is still too early to impact specific industries and more.
? AI doesn’t have emotion which makes it better in some circumstances to make decisions (ie driverless cars).
? Many areas of business will use AI (some already are. ie: to automate repetitive tasks)
???? Arsen covered a ton more and took questions from the audience for over an hour!
? This shortcut from the event recording shows Arsen discussing AI’s limits when it comes to creativity and where there still needs to be some human input.
“…the creativity that’s something there’s no way, at least right now, who knows what’s going to happen in the future, that AI can be as creative as a human…”
