Jeffrey Lee Simons

Jeff brings with him nearly thirty years of diverse advertising, marketing and promotions experience. He cut his teeth in direct response in the 80’s as the Marketing Director of Model Expo, Inc. America’s largest mail order hobby company. In the 90’s, he was Creative Director for Corporate Marketing at Marvel Entertainment Group when Brandweek chose them as Kid’s Marketers of the Year. The millennium found him as Director of Integrated Marketing at Tanen Directed Advertising, where he worked with clients ranging from small start-ups to Citigroup, MasterCard, PepsiCo, Pitney Bowes and the United Nations. With the new decade, Jeff opened up JL Simons Marketing & Advertising Consulting, enabling him to service a broader range of clients in Social Media marketing, frequently as their Director of Social Media. He is an annual guest lecturer on Internet Marketing and Social Media at SUNY New Palz. Jeff has also run his own critically acclaimed game company, Q.E.D. Games, Inc., co-founded an ad agency, co-authored a book on Cause-Related Marketing with Dr. Richard Steckel, “Making Money While Making A Difference,” and written “Lexicon: words and images of strange” and “Toyphabet” with noted artist Viktor Koen. Jeff was born in Brooklyn, NY and has a BA in Literature from Georgetown University.

Barry has written blogs, eNewsletters, website copy, whitepapers and other content for The Pohly Company, BizUnite, NBC, The Trump Organization, Step By Step Marketing, and many other clients. Barry has written and co-authored more than 10 books, including Lifestyle and Event Marketing (McGraw-Hill) and Multicultural Marketing (McGraw-Hill). Barry was formerly Senior Editor at the National Institute of Business Management, where he edited Executive Strategies, Working Smart and other newsletters and wrote many books and marketing premium publications. Barry earned degrees from both McGill University and Yale.

Beth Dumbauld
Director of Content Marketing

Beth is an online marketing and content expert who helps businesses execute marketing and sales strategies both off- and online. She has written blogs, email and website copy, eBooks, white papers, and business plans for a variety of organizations. Current clients include StraighterLine and National Wildlife Turkey Federation. She has executed sales and marketing campaigns for IBM, HP, and The Small Business & Technology Development Centers (SBTDC) – earning sales and performance awards for her work. Beth has an undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
